Brand Value Alignment Worksheet
This is a great exercise for your sales team. In short you ask your sales team what recognizable brands are like your brand and why. This simple worksheet gets you and your team in conversation quickly about your organization's value and how best to communicate it. You'll learn a ton about how aligned your sales organization is as a team.

Value Proposition Worksheet
The first and most important component to The Revenue Equation is value. That's because value sets the table for sales, and sales generates the revenue you need to stay in business and grow. When you understand your organization's value, then communicating your value to your internal and external customers becomes easy (and effective).

Key Differentiators Worksheet
Ask your team how your organization's value and offerings are different than those of your competitors. If they are unclear on how to answer this question, then I recommend this worksheet. It's a great exercise to get your sales and marketing teams working together and aligned. In the end, they should be able to tell you why a customer should purchase your product or service from your company instead of from any of the other alternatives in the marketplace.

Target Audience Worksheet
Every sales person talks about their target audience. It's core to sales. However, this worksheet takes that concepts and pushes it farther, generates strategic thinking, and inspires sales teams get more intentional about how they message and sell to different target audiences. This is a great worksheet to bring the sales and marketing teams together into partnering discussions.

Offerings Worksheet
Creating alignment between your value proposition, key differentiators, target audience and offerings is essential to creating relevant and high-impact messaging and an efficient sale funnel. Under the best scenario, your offerings should be 100% aligned to the needs, interests, and wants of your target audience. Use this worksheet to revisit your offerings and how you communicate their value.

Sales Stories Worksheet
Sales Stories paint memorable pictures of the value you create for your customers. For this exercise you will think about a compelling customer story where your company clearly provided value and complete the worksheet. I recommend having each sales person create their own stories and share them with the rest of sales team in a sales meeting - giving the entire team sample stories they can use with their prospects.
